The Ways To Disassemble PC

how to disassemble your PC.

disassemble Steps:

1. Make sure PC on off mode and turn off tension source of your computer.

2. Release all cables which connect casing with external component such as                 joystick,keyboard,monitor,mouse,printer,scanner,speaker, etc. 


3. Open the case and put it on flat surface.

4 Release cable on motherboard:

· Motherboard power cable,IDe cable,floppy date cable,and fan powercable

· Cable which connect motherboard with case component (switch on/off,reset LED)

serial cable and parallel.

5. Release buffer (place to put motherboard) and bolts of motherboard with casing component,put it on flat surface.so ease to release motherboard component. Don’t touch backside of motherboard, worrying about static electric.


6. Release motherboard component from its slot:

· VGA card (PCI slot or AGP)

· Sound card (ISA slot or PCI)

· RAM (memory slot)

· Other card such as Ethernet card,internal modem,TV tuner etc.


7. The last step is releasing processor (be careful and ask somehelp if you can’t do that. 

Socket 7:

· Unlock processor place by moving small tiand from horizontal position to vertical position so it will be upright of the motherboard.

· Release processor’s place carefully.the damage of processor feet could be happened if the lock isn’t open well. 

Slot 1:

· Push the lock of processor on in the rights and left side conform processor slot position.
Take processor on if it’s released.

Assembling Steps:

1. Setting processor.

2. Setting Heatsink then layer heatsink with gel to decrease warm from processor.


3. Put motherboard on the case at safe place.

4. Set power connector from power supply to its place in motherboard.the connector has to be placed on motherboard with black cable in middle position.

 

5. Set speaker connector from casing to motherboard.position of casing connector’s equipment is in left down of motherboard.it can be horizontal or vertical sequently.


This is connection from casing’s equipment to the assembling place:

· Speaker,two cables is connected to four pins motherboard,1 and 4. upside down cable position isn’t problem. On motherboard is written SPK(speaker).

· LED power,two cables to five pins motherboard,1 and 5.if the power is on but LED lamp isn’t flame.that might be cable’s position is wrong, then upside it down. It usually based on KEYLOCK on motherboard. Safety lock on the old case is used to lock keybaoard,so keyboard can’t be used.then lock’s cable will be connected to pin no 2 and 3 or 3 and 4 from this pin key-lock.

· LED turbo, 2 cables to two pins motherboard,1 and 2.if the pushing of this turbo button doesn’t light the lamp, then upside the cable down. On motherboard is usually written TB LED(Turbo LED).

· Reset, two cable to two pins motherboard,1 and 2. On motherboard is usually written RST(reset).

· Turbo,three cable to two pins motherboard,1 and 2. If turbo button’s lamp is flame it means cable is in right position.

· LED HDD, to differentiate indicator when hardisc is working, 2 cable to card in/out pin because hardisc isn’t connected to motherboard but by card in/out.

    Display,7-segment is connected to power supply. Components which have to be set are speaker and LED only, while other components will be set after all components is set correctly.

6. Set RAM at its slot. it has to follow correct rule. Error in assembling will make damage on motherboard.



7. Set card monitor (VGA card)with correct exspansion card or other exspansion.

8. Set power cable from casing with electric tension source, then turn on computer.if everything is correct then monitor will be written “keyboard error”.

 

9. Set keyboard in connector at backside of casing.

 

10. Set in/out card at the correct slot rightside slot to ease the cable assembling from in/out card to disc drive. Turn computer on and see respon shows on computer monitor. Until this step, monitor will show report box from BIOS contains everything about computer hardware data, such as processor type,hard disc,floppy disc,memory and port are set.

11. Set floppy disk data cable on card in/out,make sure that cable number 1 is connected with pin number 1 correctly. This cable consists of 34 pins. Cable number 1 usually start from left. Cable number 1 at floppy disk cable data is usually marked by red line along the cable. Connector setting will determine drive A or B. Top connector is for drive A, middle is for drive B. Set the power connector to disk drive.turn the computer on and see respon which is showed on monitor. Minimally, message which is appeared is asking for disc operating system.

 

12. This day, computer is compeleted with by hard disk and CD-ROM. Both of this component is connected with IDE data cable connector which have 40 pin.IDE cable connector was connected to Primary IDE on motherboard by setting hard disc as master primary and CD-ROM as slave primary first. This setting is done by setting jumper on hard disc.
